How to Use Brow Lamination and Color

Follow the proper instructions to transform your brows at home with an easy 2-in-1 kit designed to lift and tint for fuller, more defined brows with a naturally polished, salon-inspired look.

STEP 1

Cleanse Brows

Thoroughly cleanse the brows with an oil-free cleanser or brow primer to remove makeup, excess oil, and product residue. Ensure the brow area is completely clean and dry before proceeding. Apply a thin layer of barrier cream around the brows—avoiding the brow hairs—to help protect the surrounding skin from accidental staining.

STEP 2

PREPARE COLOR

Mix equal parts of the Pre-Color Solution and Brow Color in a 1:1 ratio. Blend thoroughly until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and evenly combined, with no visible streaks or separation.

STEP 3

APPLY TO BROWS

Using a fresh applicator, apply the mixed color evenly across the brows, working in the direction of hair growth. Ensure every brow hair is thoroughly coated for uniform and consistent color.

STEP 4

PROCESSING TIME

Leave the tint on for 10–15 minutes, depending on the desired color intensity. For a deeper, more defined result, cover the brows with a thin strip of plastic during processing. Check the color periodically and remove the tint once the desired intensity is achieved.

STEP 5

REMOVE THE COLOR

Gently wipe away the tint using a clean, damp cotton pad, working carefully along the brow hairs until all product is thoroughly removed. Clean the brow area and surrounding skin completely, taking care to prevent any remaining product from coming into contact with the eyes.

STEP 6

FINAL CLEANING

Apply Nourishing Lotion #3 evenly over the brows using a fresh applicator. Leave on for 1 minute, then gently wipe away any excess with a clean applicator. Brush the brow hairs into the desired shape and style for a polished, finished look.

Warning

1. Perform a patch test before treatment according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not proceed if redness, itching, swelling, burning, or irritation occurs.
2. Do not use on irritated, broken, inflamed, or damaged skin around the brows or eyes.
3. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
4. Keep lamination solutions and color products away from the eye area and never leave them on longer than the recommended time.
5. Use separate, clean applicators for each product and avoid contaminating the product containers.
6. Do not mix products or alter the recommended mixing ratio unless specifically instructed by the manufacturer.
7. Discontinue use immediately if burning, excessive stinging, swelling, or severe irritation occurs.
8. Do not perform brow lamination or tinting on clients with a known sensitivity or previous allergic reaction to similar products.

Aftercare

1. Keep brows dry for the first 24 hours. Avoid excessive water, steam, sweating, swimming, and saunas to help maintain the lamination and color.
2. Avoid makeup and skincare products directly on the brows during the first 24 hours.
3. Avoid oil-based products, exfoliants, retinoids, and strong acids around the brow area, as these may cause the color to fade more quickly or irritate the skin.
4. After 24 hours, gently cleanse the brows with a mild, oil-free cleanser and avoid rubbing or scrubbing.
5. Condition and nourish the brow hairs daily with a recommended brow aftercare serum or nourishing lotion to help maintain softness, hydration, and a healthy appearance.
6. Gently brush the brows into shape each day using a clean spoolie.
7. Minimize prolonged sun exposure, as it may contribute to premature color fading.
